2018 Routes

Interactive maps and GPS downloads coming soon

All routes have been carefully designed and ridden by a group of regular South Shropshire riders.  In the past we have had plenty of compliments on our routes, we hope you like our brand NEW ones, ranging from the very flat CLUN40 (perfect for first timers) and the mighty CLUN140 which tops the charts as the longest cycling sportive route in Shropshire!

Our routes offer safe (near-car free!) cycling on quiet lanes with many scenic viewpoints.  We invest in top quality signs to make finding your way even easier and have continued our partnership with British Cycling, who supply special signs and banners to ensure the day goes smoothly.

En route there will be food stops at village halls manned by Arts Alive volunteers, with plenty of water, fruit and homemade cakes for all cyclists. Once finished, participants can enjoy a free cuppa back at the Clun event village with family and supporters, there will also be hot food on sale from popular cycling foodistas Podium Catering.

We pride ourselves on the welcoming atmosphere, slick registration, friendly helpers and giving everyone a good time. 2017 saw 32% women entrants – this is not your typical sportive!
